Gridworks celebrated a major construction milestone alongside partners Origis Energy and Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. at Escalante Solar, the 200 MW PV Project in Prewitt, New Mexico.
This panel-signing event commemorated the halfway point of the project with 250,000 panel modules installed thus far on the project. The project will reach final completion in 2024.
Escalante Solar is being built on the site of the former, 253-megawatt, coal-fired Escalante Station, which was retired in 2020, as Tri-State continues to pursue its landmark Responsible Energy Plan.
