Gridworks and Affordable Solar Break Ground on New Mexico’s First Community Solar Project

The Gridworks team celebrated the groundbreaking of New Mexico's very FIRST community solar project alongside our partner Affordable Solar, key stakeholders, and local community leaders.

Gridworks is honored to be the EPC for seven of these landmark projects throughout the state of New Mexico over the next few years. Once completed, these projects will provide affordable, clean energy options to low-income families in NM.

Additionally, each solar project will be named in recognition of a local nonprofit and each nonprofit will be awarded a significant donation to continue their positive work in the community.

ASG 8, the first project of the series to kick off, is dedicated to Cuidando Los NiƱos. The organization's mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for children and families by providing high quality early childhood education, supportive housing, parent education, and advocacy alongside the families.
